Showing affection to & loving your wife does not make you less of a man

This is very common for men. We go out of our way to get the partner of our dreams. We plan dates and surprises trying to keep them happy and excited while we are dating but stop doing all of that as soon as we are married. It’s as if we are done. We passed. We made it.

No, you did not. Now you must make sure that you love your partner the way you did when you were trying to get them. See their beauty, tell them that they are beautiful. Open the door for them. Help them doing chores around the house, taking care of the kids/pets and everything else that you deem is only their responsibility.

They deserve your love for the rest of your life. Saying I love you to them daily does not make you less manly. Don’t give up on that.
